Found a regression in f216b65 that breaks one of the project's testcases. (the pauses dictionary was removed)
This PR fixes the aforementioned test and adds a new one for the introduced case. Feel free to alter the introduced cases as you see fit, I figured i'd go ahead and over test rather than under test.
