Installation Guide

This guide walks you through installing Python Manager on your system.

Prerequisites

• Python 3.7 or higher
• pip (Python package manager)
• Git (for cloning the repository)

Installation Steps

1. Clone the Repository

git clone https://github.com/prismatex/python-manager.git
cd python-manager

2. Create Virtual Environment (Recommended)

Windows:

python -m venv venv
venv\Scripts\activate

Linux/macOS:

python3 -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate

3. Install Dependencies

pip install -r requirements.txt

4. Download Socket.IO (if needed)

python download_socketio.py

5. Start the Manager

python start_manager.py

Choose option 1 for the all-in-one server (recommended).

6. Access the Web Interface

Open your browser and navigate to: http://localhost:5000 Verify Installation

Check that the web interface loads Try starting the example script View logs to ensure they're being captured
