Android architecture component (
ViewModel) has been integrated with the existing project. AsDaggerActivityextends fromActivityandViewModelProviders.of()method requires aFragmentorFragmentActivityas it's first parameter, The parent ofMainActivityhas been changed toAppCompatActivityfromDaggerActivityand addition modifications have been made because of this change.
